This initiative seeks to generate and implement original ideas that would contribute to the growth and optimization of both lines of businesses we manage: Direct Human Consumption and Indirect Human Consumption.
It was launched on May last year. In order to offer the best products from our sea to Peruvian families, our employees worked for almost a year to propose out-of-the-box solutions under the categories of cost-saving, productivity, quality and environment. Each of these categories had two winners.
All short-listed candidates were assigned a mentor or sponsor who helped them improve and submit more consistent ideas. The winning ideas were related to topics such as biological and technological control, cleaning of press fishing meshes and fishing mesh holders, washing of fat extracting cones and wind electrical energy generation for barges. These ideas were evaluated by a strict jury, made up of our management as part of “Hayduk’s Core Committee”.
“At Hayduk, we work under a business model driven by innovation that implies promoting knowledge and culture of all our collaborators. I think that this is a great opportunity to exploit all our competitive advantages and keep on working to strengthen the company’s modern and efficient management”, stated Jose Arriola, General Manager.
