Cooperating for the welfare of
the Coishco community and in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, last year we
formed the Sectorial Committee of Social Responsibility together with the
Austral Group and Cantabria fishing companies.
Thanks to this sum of efforts,
we have been able to organize various actions of communication and donations
for the community; as well as meetings in which the 3 fisheries we share
information about our case management for the coronavirus and other prevention
measures for employees.
Regarding social support,
since 2020 we have made donations for the community and institutions that take
care of the health of the inhabitants in this difficult situation. And, in
2021, we have continued to carry out these activities, achieving deliver
supplies for the Minsa Medical Center, such as masks, aprons, headgear and
digital blood pressure monitors. Also, we delivered to the Medical Center
EsSalud Coishco Hospital I 15 oxygen cylinders, 15 manometers and 300 PPE kits
for health personnel, among others.
In addition, we delivered 600
kg of food, cleaning and disinfection supplies and semi-industrial kitchens for
the new common pots of the human settlements of Ollanta Humala, Nuevo Coishco,
Barrio Chino and Nuevo San Valentin, in coordination with the Provincial
Municipality of Santa.
To date, we have collaborated
in the vaccination sessions for local senior citizens, with awnings, chairs,
and constant dissemination about the campaign, with the aim that they are given
in the best way. Likewise, it should be added that we maintain the dissemination
of messages on prevention of Covid-19 and the new provisions of the government
through peripheral and radio spots.
From our organization, we
reaffirm our commitment to social responsibility, and we continue to work hand
in hand with all members of the Coishco Sectorial Committee for Social
Responsibility to combat the effects of the pandemic in the locality.
