Ica, October 2025. Pesquera Hayduk announced the acquisition of an anchovy
processing plant in Tambo de Mora, an investment that consolidates its expansion
strategy and its commitment to operational efficiency and long-term sustainability. This
operation marks the beginning of a new era for the company and the plant’s
employees, with management based on respect, transparency, and a shared vision of
development.

The acquisition is part of Hayduk’s growth plan, focused on strengthening processing
capacity and ensuring a more integrated operation. With this new infrastructure, the
company will optimize its value chain, from discharge to the production of high-quality
fishmeal and fish oil.

The analysis of the last three years of anchovy behavior—considering environmental
variations and the effects of climate change—was key to identifying areas and
capacities that ensure the continuity and efficiency of operations in the medium and
long term.

“The purchase of this plant is the result of technical and strategic planning that took into
account the behavior of the resource, the discharge capacity and the environmental
conditions of the area. With this operation, we are taking a firm step towards more
integrated, efficient and sustainable management”, said Diego Balarezo, Commercial
and Corporate Strategy Manager at Hayduk.

Commitment to Sustainability

In line with its responsible management model, Hayduk will operate the plant under the
highest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Priority will be given
to energy efficiency, the responsible use of natural resources, and regulatory
compliance.

In this way, the company reaffirms its commitment to local communities, promoting
formal employment, capacity development and strengthening the social environment in
the areas where it operates.
